YOUTH, OPEN and MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026

The Championships will be held at Parkwood Road Mount Kelly, Tavistock, PL19 0HZ on Sunday 22nd February 2026
Warm up 10:00am -10.10am
First event will start at 10:15 am
Individual Age Groups
Youth U14yrs: all members of the relay team must be aged 14yrs and under on 31st December 2026
Youth U16yrs: all members of the relay team must be aged 16yrs and under on 31st December 2026
Youth U18yrs: all members of the relay team must be aged 18yrs and under on 31st December 2026
Seniors: all members of the relay team must be 16yrs and over on 31st December 2026
Masters Age Bands: 30+ 40+ 50+ 60+ 70+

Youth U14yrs: all members of the relay team must be aged 14yrs and under on 31st December 2026

PROGRAMME OF EVENTS
Girls then boys U14yrs, U16yrs, U18yrs, Masters youngest to oldest, Seniors
(girls age group will race one event followed by the boys)
Each club needs to supply at least two helpers with fins, to help move manikins

1 Manikin Carry (swim 25m & carry 25m) U14yrs to use a junior manikin 50m
2 Manikin Relay U14, U16, U18, Masters, Seniors 100m
3 Manikin Carry with Fins (swim 50m carry 50m) U14, U16, U18, Masters, Seniors 100m
4 Rescue Medley – U14 (12.5m underwater) U16, U18, Masters / Open 100m
5 Lifesaver Relay - U16 mixed, U18 mixed, Masters, Open mixed 200m
6 Super Lifesaver - Open 200m
7 Manikin (half full) tow with fins - U14, U16, U18, Masters / Seniors 100m
8 Medley Relay 4 x 50 U14, U15, U17, Masters, Open 200m
11* Line Throw – U14, U16, U18yrs, Masters, Open – if time for mixed teams 12.5m
