OBSATCLE Devon Pool Competition 2025
DEVON POOL LIFE SAVING OBSTACLE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2025 The Championships will be held at Tarka Leisure Centre on Sunday 6th April 2025. £5 entry First Event 18:05 Can club’s please provider helpers to put the blocks in and help put the obstacles in at 17:45 poolside (far end first, to try not to disturb Barnstaple swimming club too much) and to help remove them at the end of the competition.
2025 National Pool Championships - Youth, Masters and Open
Entries Open for the SLSGB 2025 National Pool Championships and GBR Team Selection Event Surf Life Saving Great Britain (SLSGB) is excited to announce that entries are now open for the 2025 National Pool Championships, taking place on 26th and 27th April 2025 at Cardiff International Pool. This year’s championships will feature an exciting new format, combining Youth, Seniors, and Masters categories over the weekend, offering competitors more opportunities to race and showcase their lifesaving skills. A Key Selection Event for the GBR Team The SLSGB National Pool Championships is not just a premier lifesaving competition, it is also one of the official GBR Team selection events. Top-performing athletes will have the chance to be considered for selection, making this a critical competition for anyone aspiring to represent Great Britain on the international stage. What’s New in 2025? A Fresh Format: This year’s event will run as three separate competitions, allowing competitors to enter both Youth and Seniors or Seniors and Masters, providing additional racing opportunities. First-Ever Youth Line Throw Event: For the first time, the championships will feature a Youth Line Throw event, adding a new test of precision, skill, and teamwork to the competition schedule. Entry Requirements To enter, competitors must be current members of either Surf Life Saving Great Britain (SLSGB) or Surf Life Saving Association of Wales (SLSA Wales).
